In partnership with the Embassy of the United States in Morocco, the Association organized the first series of individual follow-up sessions for participants of the second cohort of the Compass Project in Agadir.
The individual follow-up aimed to assess the participation of beneficiaries of the Compass project, based on quantitative and qualitative criteria such as number of absences, the progress in the completion of the plan of action assigned to each participant and the progress in the launching of projects by Project Holders; as well as to identify the needs of each participant and address them in the remaining period of the project.
The participants were also asked to comment on the methodology and organization of the Compass Project in order to learn appropriate lessons and raise the Association’s performance in the area of professional integration of young people.
As of the project’s objectives, the individual follow up also addressed the personal development of participants, such as their level of self-confidence and the extent to which personal skills, such as time management, stress management, conflict management and professional etiquette, were acquired and applied.
This process comes at the end of the training phase, and in preparation for the coaching phase, which will be organized in partnership with the startup incubator “Univers StartUp & Entrepreneur”. More than 45 participants from the two categories OFPPT trainees and Project Holders took part of these sessions. More follow up sessions will later benefit 20 artisans in Agadir and 15 OFPPT trainees in Tata.
